![]() R3kt has much stronger early game whereas setsu has much stronger late game. ![]() In terms of playstyle early game r3kt can be played more proactively to force a card out of the enemy(or else you just get both bridges for 1 mana) whereas setsu is going to be deployed reactively to use the initial impact to kill squishy targets, to target a high value target specifically, or after the opponent grabs the bridge to contest. Even if the enemy targets the real one with a swarm r3kt can swap to other side and leave a clone behind. Only get 1 version, very easy to kill setsu with swarms like scrat swarm whereas new master can punish swarms using his shadow clone(they explode for 50 damage killing most swarm type units). ![]() Whereas setsu just cant do the same early game. Personally I think the new master has a really strong early game at perk 1-2 since his card can pressure both bridges and has good trading efficiency for only a 1 cost card. With setsu you only get 1 copy but new master has 2/3 copies so you can constantly have him on the field. Cant really compare perk 3 but yes setsu has a stronger one for sure. Compared to setsu has around 3-5 cost efficiency (depends on if using perk 2 for greater dps). Eh theres trade offs, without the use of perk 2+spell both have similar overall dps(due to setsu reload) WIth the new master it only costs 1 mana which is extremely cheap and he has solid stats falling around 2-3 mana in terms of cost efficiency (the total value of the hp+dps/damage output). Overall from what i have seen of him so far. Overall, Settsu does the same thing, but can be deployed anywhere, can have a stun with a refresh on every spell used once level 3, kills low health enemies instantly on arrival and doesnt ask you to have many expansive cards in your deck for maximum effect. Summon dies to a fireball, wiht the decoys being the only form of durability he has. I'll create VMs using Parallels and run CS6 and LR6 that way. As soon as Apple builds a Mac Mini with a decent spec, I intend to switch to that and run the latest Mac OS. I have tested CS6 running on those VMs without any problems. My iMac is running Mohave and I have set up both Sierra and Mohave as virtual machines under Vmware and Parallels. I'd cloned my MBP before doing this experiment so cloned it back to Mohave. CS6 not at all and LR6 although it launched fell down all over the place. I temporarily upgraded my MacBook Pro (13" unibody) from Mojave to Catalina to see what the impact was on CS6/LR6 etc. In any event once i purchase, I assume, i can always get a copy from Affinity via my ID. I am going to store the V2 Install apps on the external Drive which is backed up. Is there any reason not to buy the Universal option given that the price is cheaper than trying to buy the 3 Apps individually for MacOS only.Īnd is there a way to delete the windows option after i download it? Or an OPTION of not installing the windows apps. I am going to pull the trigger and purchase V2 later this week, I may as well purchase it at the discount even if i won't be able to run it until i upgrade to a new Mac Mini in the new year. Or am i wrong: Will CS5 run on Catalina? Any one have direct experiences.Īffinity V2. I am on OS Mojave 10.14.6 because i'm under the assumption this is the only version of the OS that still supports CS5.( which i still need for archived work) (Most of my collaborators are still using preferably CS6 for the same reason). Unless I diligently export them to IDML, and accept to lose the Book files, that can't be exported to IDML. But I don't like this solution, since all the documents I will produce will be kept hostage of Adobe. Since the Affinity apps are compatibile between different OSs, I think this will not be really C, by the way: can we install both the Mac and the Windows version at the same time, when owning the Universal license? If this is allowed, I plan to have the Windows version on my main Mac, and the Mac version on my MacBook.Īnother alternative would be to migrate to Monterey, and get a license of InDesign CC. This would make me start trying them, and elaborating a strategy for migration.Īn alternative could be to install Monterey under Parallels Desktop, but this would mean one operating system more. Thanks to the Universal license, I could install the Windows version of the Affinity 2.0 apps. Windows 10 under VirtualBox (that I prefer to Parallels Desktop), to run Win-only apps that I need for my job. I need it for the best compatibility, in those cases where CS6 on Mojave can find memory issues. Sierra as a secondary Mac OS, running under Parallels Desktop. The fact that Affinity Publisher 2.0 can't export to IDML means that I will still need it for an unpredictable time. Mojave as the main OS, that I need to continue working with CS6. I'm currently running these operating systems in my main Mac: While I immediately purchased the Universal license (thank you Serif for this!), I can't now install the new suite anywhere in my obsolete iPads or Mac OSs. However, I want to look at the source material right now in order for us to see how exactly this popular character within Marvel’s Cinematic Universe was developed throughout the years.Īll right, first of all, the character known as Daisy Johnson was originally created by superstar writer Brian Michael Bendis and superb artist Gabrielle Del’Otto back in 2004, which makes her one of the more recent creations to be promoted from the funny books to the MCU. By now, we already know that she’s an inhuman who has the power to create vibrations, and all the true believers out there who follow the House of Ideas are well aware that she’s based on the character of the same name, who’s also known as Quake on Earth-616. But going back to Agents of SHIELD, I’m specifically writing this article to look at one of its main stars, Daisy Johnson (played by Chloe Bennet). Maybe I’ll even write about it one of these days). Plus, iZombie’s back, too, and I enjoy that show (don’t judge ‘til you see it. But with the return of Marvel’s resident spy organization on the small screen, I’ve started to think that the TV gods are smiling down upon me somewhere. Then, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow had its finale, too, which nearly cleans out my whole viewing schedule. ![]() I still can’t get over the fact that Agents of SHIELD is back right now, considering that some of the shows I follow won’t be returning until the end of April, such as CW’s the Flash and Supergirl, respectively. ![]() For an idea of how big the cargo pockets are, check out this blog post - you can fit a shocking amount of gear in there. Their manager might, but engineering managers only want to pay for discrete new capabilities, i.e. Our diagnosis is that individual developers do not pay for tools. Our 500k developers would not pay to use it. Then, our product failed to generate revenue. We executed very well here, and grew our user base to 500,000 monthly-active developers, with almost zero marketing spend. It took many iterations and heavy engineering lifts to get there. We did not reach product-market fit until 2019, five years after starting the company. We sequenced building our business in the following order: First we built our team, then the product, then distribution, and then monetization.īecause our product was very difficult to build, we began by building a world-class engineering team. We failed to build a business because our product did not monetize, and it took too long to figure that out. Nonetheless, we could have built a successful business without 10×’ing developer productivity using AI, and we did not do that. It may cost over $100 million to build a production-quality tool capable of synthesizing code reliably, and nobody has tried that quite yet. We made some progress towards better models for code, but the problem is very engineering intensive. The largest issue is that state-of-the-art models don’t understand the structure of code, such as non-local context. As of late 2022, Copilot shows a lot of promise but still has a long way to go. You can see this in Github Copilot, which is built by Github in collaboration with Open AI. We built the most-advanced AI for helping developers at the time, but it fell short of the 10× improvement required to break through because the state of the art for ML on code is not good enough. While we built next-generation experiences for developers, our business failed in two important ways.įirst, we failed to deliver our vision of AI-assisted programming because we were 10+ years too early to market, i.e. ![]() Thank you to everyone who used our product, and thank you to our team members and investors who made this journey possible.
